Table Tennis Association would like to acknowledge the support of

The Auckland
Table Tennis Association (ATTA) hosted the inaugural KVB Kunlun
ATTA Doubles Open on Saturday 26th April and Sunday 27th April,
2008 (with Sunday 27th April being the Finals Day).
Event winners

for the winners of the KVB Kunlun Open Men's Doubles. Gold medalists
Shane Laugesen/Liu Chao; Silver medalists Ryan Zhu/Nathan Lowe;
Bronze medalists John Cordue/Simon Wallace and Chen Lei/James Han.
Trophy presented by Mr. Jimmy Koh (KVB Kunlun).
The ATTA
delivered the tournament in conjunction with Chinese Voice (transmitting
on AM936 and FM 95.8 Chinese radio stations).
The ATTA

Auckland Summer Open held on 1st and 2nd March, 2008.
The Auckland
Table Tennis Association would like to acknowledge the Lion Foundation
in providing funding for David Jackson and Daniel Fan to travel
to the 2007 World Junior Championships in Palo Alto, USA in their
capacity as tournament officials. Thanks Lion Foundation!

In October
2007 the Auckland Table Tennis Association were kindly donated Sun
Win Wah Mooncakes by Lim Brothers Import & Export Company Ltd.
All proceeds from the sale of the Sun Win Wah Mooncakes went towards
Auckland representative squad players travel and accommodation expenses
associated with attending the 2007 New Zealand Open Table Tennis
Championships in Cambridge, Waikato.
Shane Warbrooke,
Garry Mak, Martin Lee, and Shane Laugesen represented the Auckland
Table Tennis Association at the $2,000 lucky prize draw associated
with the Sun Win Wah Mooncakes at Lim Brothers Import & Export
Company Ltd.

Jung Mi
Kim competed in the 88th Gwang-Ju National Games in Korea and won
gold in the Open Women's singles. The Games are for Koreans living
abroad.
Jung Mi
is an Auckland Table Tennis Association representative player and
was a member of Auckland Open Women's team that finished runner-up
in the A Grade at the 2007 New Zealand Open Table Tennis Championships.

The 2007 NZ Open Table
Tennis Championships were held from Wednesday 26th September - Saturday
6th October, 2007. The Championships were hosted by the Waikato
Table Tennis Association at the Robb Sports Centre, St. Peter's
School, State Highway 1, Cambridge. Players from all over New Zealand
attended the Championships.
The Auckland Table Tennis
Association teams were extremely successful at the Championships
winning the Under 15 Boys A Grade, Under 15 Girls A Grade, Under
18 Boys A Grade, Under 18 Girls A Grade, Open Mens A Grade, and
runner-up in the Open Womens A Grade teams events. Congratulations
to all involved!

The Auckland
Table Tennis Association have installed an electronic semaphore
board that displays team and individual names to improve the running
of stadium clubs, school competitions, and tournaments. The electronic
semaphore board was supplied by HMI Technologies and is the largest
indoor sports board in New Zealand.
The electronic
semaphore board is proudly supported by the ASB Bank Community Trust
and HMI Technologies.
