The Auckland
Table Tennis Association has completed hosting of the "Festival
of Table Tennis" from 1st April - 18th April 2010 including
Youth Olympic Games Qualification events, ITTF Elite Training Camp,
KVB Kunlun New Zealand Junior & Cadet Open - ITTF Junior Circuit,
and KVB Kunlun ITTF-Oceania Championships.

2009 season that assisted in establishing scholarships for leading
Auckland junior table tennis players. Scholarships were awarded
to players who had made significant sacrifice in order to develop
their game, and to attend international table tennis events.
Recipients of scholarships in 2009 were; Phillip Xiao, Kevin Wu,
and Angie Guo.

The Auckland
Table Tennis Association have installed an electronic semaphore
board that displays team and individual names to improve the running
of stadium clubs, school competitions, and tournaments. The electronic
semaphore board was supplied by HMI Technologies and is the largest
indoor sports board in New Zealand.
The electronic
semaphore board is proudly supported by the ASB Bank Community Trust
and HMI Technologies.
